The best Russian regions for mining

Mining in Russia – the occupation is quite profitable. The price for the Bitcoin produced here is little more than 4,700 dollars for the "coin", and the climate in most of the regions contributes to this noble occupation – in the summer it is quite hot in Russia, but winter compensates for it, which lasts much longer. Therefore, miners can save a lot on cooling their farms – especially in Siberia and other cold regions of the country. Nevertheless, the conditions for mining in each constituent entity of the Russian Federation vary, and the promise of this occupation largely depends on electricity prices. We tell you where you can move to make more money, thanks to saving on electricity.

Prices in Russia vary from one region to another from eight to eight rubles per kilowatt-hour, but out of 65 subjects of the Russian Federation only three kilowatt cost more than 6 rubles. Among them, the Magadan region, where the average price of a kilowatt of electricity is 7.26 rubles. Residents of the Kamchatka Territory pay 8.1 rubles per kilowatt-hour, and the most expensive region in this respect is Chukotka Autonomous District – 8.2 rubles per kWh.

In the rest of the Russian Federation, the established tariffs start at about three rubles and in some places reach up to five rubles a kilowatt-hour. So, in Dagestan, for electricity, you have to pay 2.41 rubles, a little more unfasten in the Chechen Republic – 2.54 rubles per kWh. The Novosibirsk region is somewhat ahead of Chechnya – local residents pay for electricity consumption by a few kopecks less, namely 2.49 rubles per kWh.

It is generally believed that the inhabitants of the regions in which the HPPs and nuclear power plants are located skate like cheese in oil, paying for the light a mere penny to envy the rest of the inhabitants of our vast Homeland, but this is not entirely true. For example, the average tariff for the Tomsk region is 3.25, although Tomsk itself and a number of other neighboring settlements are located in the thirty-kilometer zone from Seversk NPP. Yes, and in the very Seversk single-rate base rate is almost no different from Tomsk.

Mining farms in the territory of the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Khakassia feel the most comfortable. Not only that the climate in these two regions is the most suitable for mining crypto currency, so also the price per kilowatt is simply fabulous: residents of the Irkutsk region pay an average of 1.01 rubles per kilowatt-hour, and in the Republic of Khakassia for the same unit of electricity local "Energosbyt" takes 1.99 rubles.

Despite the fact that residents of some regions pay much more for electricity than others, it's quite profitable to mine in Russia with the current Bitcoin course. The country is considered quite favorable for this type of activity, especially in comparison with many other states.
